Academics
Majors and Minors
Undergraduate majors at CNU range from sociology to economics to music. You can complement your major with one of our many minors or pre-professional programs - or take courses in a certificate program.

All majors and minors are housed in an academic department, and all are part of either the Joseph W. Luter III College of Business & Leadership or the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Whichever course you pursue, you’ll take part in our innovative Liberal Learning Curriculum, which teaches critical thinking skills through courses such as “John Smith, Pocahontas, and Jamestown: Myths & Realities in early Virginia” and “Scientists in Cribs: The Foundations of Scientific Thinking in Children.”
